| Kyra's F1 Litter Born 10/5! |
Our gorgeous, petite (15lbs) Black & Tan AKC Cocker Spaniel, Kyra, had a litter of F1 (First
Generation) Cockapoo puppies on October 5, 2011. 1 Black & Tan Female, Sweetie, is available.
Kyra is a little sweetie with a great personality, wonderful health and silky coat. The sire of this
litter is Chester, our AKC Sable Miniature Poodle who has a fabulous disposition and weighs
9.5lbs. So we expect Sweetie to be in the 10-15lb range when mature. She was whelped in the
living room, has dew claws removed, tail docked, has been vet checked (got a clean bill of
health!), has all 3 puppy shots (only needs her Rabies shot), has been wormed twice and is
ready to go to her forever home! She is started housebreaking using a doggie door and is well
socialized with other dogs, cats, kids and adults. Sweetie comes with her health record from our
vet, and a puppy kit containing toys, food, treats and a cloth that smells like mom and siblings to
make the transition to a new home a little easier. Plus she will be registered with the ACC
(American Cockapoo Club) which will only register puppies from registered parents.
We don't ship our puppies, but we will meet you at the Indianapolis Airport so you can take your
puppy as a carry-on. UPDATE: Sweetie has gone to her new home!

COCKAPOOS, the Cocker Spaniel and Poodle mix, live about 15 years on average. They are one of the first Designer Dogs to have been purposely bred, dating back to the
1950's. When you mix two pure breeds, the resulting offspring receive "Hybrid Vigor" which means they grow better and generally have better health than a purebred. Their
size range can vary, depending on the size of the parents. These pups are friendly, endearing, playful, sweet-natured and OH SO CUTE. They are happy, social and are very
good with children and the elderly. They have a low to medium energy level, being easy-going, but playful and fun! They will fetch, run, walk, swim and play, but they also love
lots of lap and snuggle time. Cockapoos are extremely intelligent and easy to train. They are low to non shedding, hypoallergenic, and smaller Cockapoos are well suited for
smaller dwellings such as apartments. The Cockapoo should be brushed regularly to be kept free from matting and should be groomed every six to eight weeks.
TRUTH ABOUT BOYS AND GIRLS: There's a little known secret that us breeders know. Generally speaking, boys are easier going, not as hyper, and more eager to please.
They are not as stubborn and tend to like all people rather than attach to just one. Most people don’t realize that girls can be more sensitive, territorial, are sometimes more
aggressive, and more protective than a male. A female can also raise her leg to mark her territory and be the Alpha dog. Something to think about…
